There are many great hotels and guesthouses throughout the island at a variety of pricing.

A little info on hotel and resort accommodations as you arrive here in Key West…

Many of you often ask about the accommodations available here on the island, as they will affect your trip. The island is two miles by four miles in size. There are many great hotels and guesthouses throughout the island at a variety of pricing. Let me give you a rundown on some of your options that will help you plan your trip.

First I will mention some of the ones located downtown that provide you with both access for us to pick you up by water as well as walking distance to Duval street and everything that can be found downtown.

The Ocean Key House resort & spa located at the base of Duval Street. This resort is located right on the main street for all the action in Key West as well as the harbor. The Ocean Key House is also located directly next to Mallory Square. Many of our guests return each year and stay here. You can check them out at www.OceanKey.com or at (800)328-9815.

The Pier House Resort & spa located directly across the street from the above mentioned Ocean Key House. The Pier House is also a top resort located on the harbor. This resort is also a regular visit for many of our annual guests. You can reach them at www.PierHouse.com or at (800)723-2791.

Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa also located on the Harbor one block off of Duval street and a block from the harbor board walk. The Hyatt has several properties on the island this one is at the 601 Front street address. You folks from the Philadelphia and south Jersey area will like the Bar & Restaurant located across the street. It is the Pat Croce owned Rum Barrel and watching Eagles games there can be quite the experience! Yes I have even heard Mummers music played at half time. A great place with a great location you view them at www.KeyWest.Hyatt.com or call them at (I will give you the local number that reaches them directly in Key West (305)809-1234.

Westin Key West Resort & Marina located on the harbor and the edge of Mallory square. This resort offers fantastic views out back overlooking the harbor and the Gulf of Mexico, some of you may remember seeing the Today show crew broadcasting from the back of this resort earlier this year. Great location and we can pick you up right out back. You can see them at www.WestinKeyWestResort.com or reach them at (866)756-1585.

Galleon Resort & Marina located on Front Street two blocks off of Duval Street. This resort also sits right on the corner of the Harbor and the boardwalk. It has a great location. You can check them out at www.Galleonresort.com or by phone at (800) 544-3030.

All of the above resorts make water pick ups possible. They are all popular selections that many of our returning anglers use every year.

Now let’s talk about some others…

Also located downtown and walking distance to everything but not adjacent to the Harbor are:

Crowne Plaza La Concha this hotel is located on Duval Street on the 400 block. They are right in the middle of everything on the main street and one block form Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville café. You can see them at www.LaconchaKeywestcom or (866)786-9205

The Banyan Resort this one is also located in the heart of old town. They are one block off of Duval Street Street, two blocks from Mallory square and three blocks from Fort Zachary Park. A great location with some multiple bedroom units and kitchens as well. The Gardens and pool areas are fantastic and this is a popular place as well with many of our return guests. www.thebanyanresort.com or (866) 371 – 9222

The Gardens Hotel a place where our shuttle stops regularly as it seems most who stay there always return. The Gardens is known for their beautiful grounds and have been featured on various television shows as well as featured in several accommodations features. They are located one block off of Duval Street and about mid way between the harbor and the far end. If I didn’t live here I would have to try this one. www.gardenshotel.com or reach them at (800)526-2664

Remember we offer a free shuttle service to get you to and from our Marina, so don’t worry about your accommodations location affecting your fishing trip!

At the far end of Duval Street you also have many options for your stay!

Southernmost Hotel Collection this includes the Southernmost on the Beach, La Mer Hotel & Dewey House as well as the Southernmost Hotel. All very popular places to stay, each a little different and offering something for everyone. These are all located a block from the southern most point in the heart of old town and allow you to enjoy a little more quiet and peaceful end of Duval Street. Their web site is www.Southernmostresorts.com you can call them at (800)354-4455

The Reach Resort located one block off of Duval Street on the quiet side. This resort offers a beach on the Atlantic side. The reach is a member of the Waldorf Astoria collection. Also very popular with many returning guests. You can see them at www.reachreasort.com or (888)-318-4316

The Casa Marina Resort located adjacent to the Reach Resort and also a Hilton member, this building was built in 1920 and still gives an impressive appearance. The rear of the resort and pool areas lead out to a beach on the Atlantic side. Definitely one of the premier properties on the island. You can see them at www.casamarinaresort.com or call at (888)303-5717.

At a later time we will add many of the Bed & Breakfast and guesthouses located in Old Town as well as some of the hotels we have omitted here .But for now let’s take a look at the offerings on the other side of the island out where you will first enter the island. Remember that the island is small so even when we talk about one side or the other everything is only a 5 minute car ride or cab ride.

Doubletree Grand Key Resort this resort is located on the quiet side of the island. It is just around the corner from the airport. It also has a great pool area and outdoor bar. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport, beach and downtown. We are there almost daily for shuttle pick ups as many of our guests stay here. It is located jus across the bridge from our marina. www.DoubletreeKeywest.com The local number to reach the resort directly is (305)293-1818.

Hyatt Windward Pointe Resort located right by the airport on the Atlantic side of the island. This Hyatt offers two bedroom suites with full kitchens and all the amenities.
